Details & composition
Every Maison Ernest shoe is made from exceptional materials. A few simple gestures are all it takes to preserve their beauty.
Patent leathers like air: store them in their pouch, avoid keeping boxes closed for too long, clean them with a soft cloth and revive their shine with a suitable oil.
Matt leathers protect themselves naturally. Use a soft brush for routine maintenance, moisturize once a year with a colorless wax, and apply a waterproofing spray in case of rain.
Suede leathers require regular care: waterproofing when first worn, then dusting after each outing with a special brush.
Leather soles wear naturally. To prolong their life, have a good shoemaker apply a protective pad.
