1. Purpose and Company Identity
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter "GTC") govern distance sales via the site www.maisonernest.com between the company Maison Ernest and any consumer making a purchase.
Maison Ernest is a simplified joint-stock company (SAS) with a share capital of €117,068.40, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 642 046 668.

2. Scope of application
These general terms and conditions of sale (GTC) apply to all product sales concluded via the website www.maisonernest.com or in Maison Ernest boutiques. They take precedence over any other document.
3. Products
The products offered are luxury shoes and accessories made according to Maison Ernest's quality and craftsmanship standards. Each product is accompanied by a detailed description sheet.
4. Order
Placing an online order implies full and unconditional acceptance of these GTC.
The order is confirmed after payment acceptance.
Maison Ernest reserves the right to refuse any order in case of ongoing dispute or obvious anomaly.
5. Prices & Taxes
Prices are displayed including or excluding all taxes depending on the customer's geographical area.

In these countries, all costs related to transport, local taxes, customs duties, or other additional fees are entirely the responsibility of the final customer.
Free delivery and shipping fees
- Free delivery for purchases over €500, or equivalent in GBP / USD, only for France, the European Union, the United Kingdom, and the United States (subject to changes in customs regulations).
- For the rest of the world, a shipping fee of €30 applies.
- All customs duties or additional fees are the responsibility of the final customer.
6. Payment methods
Accepted payment methods: Bank Card, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, PayPal, bank transfer, as well as Klarna (payment in 4 installments without fees).
The charge is made upon order confirmation.
7. Delivery
- Carriers: DHL, UPS, or any other logistics partner depending on the destination.
- Indicative timeframes: 2 to 5 business days (excluding customs processing).
- Standard delivery fees:
- France: €15
- Europe and Switzerland: €25
- Worldwide: €30
- Free delivery from €500 purchase (or equivalent GBP / USD) for France, the EU, the United Kingdom, and the United States (subject to customs changes).
8. Right of withdrawal & Returns
- The customer has 14 days from receipt to return an unworn item, in its original packaging and accompanied by its invoice.
- Returns are handled by Maison Ernest via its partner logistics providers. Any non-compliant return or return sent by another means may incur fees deducted from the refund.
- In case of exchange, the second shipment is free (if minimum value of €500).
9. Warranties & Claims
- The customer benefits from the legal warranty of conformity and the warranty against hidden defects.
- Natural wear, inappropriate or accidental use are not covered.
- In case of manufacturing defects, the shoes can be restored by our partner workshops.

10. Made-to-order items
Items made "to order" (specific productions, customizations) cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded.
11. Specificities of heeled products
Maison Ernest has specialized in heels since 1904. However, it is the responsibility of each customer to ensure their ability to wear the chosen heights.
Improper use, unsuitable walking, or an accident related to misuse are not covered by the warranty.
12. Heel height
The indicated height is measured on a size 37. It may vary by approximately ±3 mm depending on the sizes.
13. Retention of title
The products remain the property of Maison Ernest until full payment of the price.
14. Liability
Maison Ernest cannot be held responsible for any site interruption, force majeure, or misuse of products.
15. Intellectual property
All content (images, texts, logos, design, creations) is the exclusive property of Maison Ernest. Any reproduction or use without authorization is prohibited.
16. Applicable law & jurisdiction
These GTC are subject to French law.
Any dispute relating to their interpretation or execution will be submitted to the Paris Commercial Court.
17. Privacy policy
Maison Ernest only collects data necessary for order management and business relations.
No data is shared with third parties.

18. Tax refund (non-EU customers)
Customers residing outside the European Union can request a tax refund, subject to meeting legal conditions. A form is provided at the time of purchase in-store.
19. Secure payment information
Online payments are secured through approved solutions.
Bank details are never stored by Maison Ernest.
