1. Purpose and Identity of the company
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter "GTC") govern sales concluded remotely via the website www.maisonernest.com between the company Maison Ernest and any consumer making a purchase.
Maison Ernest is a simplified joint-stock company (SAS) with a share capital of €117,068.40, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 642 046 668.

2. Scope
These general terms and conditions of sale (GTC) apply to all sales of products concluded via the website www.maisonernest.com or in Maison Ernest stores. They supersede any other document.
3. Products
The products offered are luxury shoes and accessories made according to the quality and craftsmanship standards of Maison Ernest. Each product is accompanied by a detailed description.
4. Order
Placing an order online implies full and complete acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
The order is confirmed after payment is accepted.
Maison Ernest reserves the right to refuse any order in the event of an ongoing dispute or obvious anomaly.
5. Prices & Taxes
Prices are displayed inclusive or exclusive of all taxes depending on the customer's geographical area.

In these countries, all costs related to transport, local taxes, customs duties or other additional charges are entirely borne by the end customer.
Free delivery and shipping costs
- Free delivery is offered for orders over €500, or the equivalent in GBP/USD, only for France, the European Union, the United Kingdom and the United States (subject to changes in customs regulations).
- For the rest of the world, a shipping fee of €30 applies.
- All customs duties or additional charges remain the responsibility of the end customer.
6. Payment methods
Accepted payment methods include: Credit card, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, PayPal, bank transfer, and Klarna (payment in 4 installments without fees).
The payment is processed upon order confirmation.
7. Delivery
- Carriers: DHL, UPS or any other logistics partner depending on the destination.
- Estimated delivery time: 2 to 5 working days (excluding customs processing).
- Standard delivery charges:
- France: €15
- Europe and Switzerland: €25
- Worldwide: €30
- Free delivery on orders over €500 (or equivalent GBP / USD) for France, the EU, the UK and the US (subject to customs changes).
8. Right of withdrawal & Returns
- The customer has 14 days from receipt to return an unworn item, in its original packaging and accompanied by its invoice.
- Returns are handled by Maison Ernest through its partner logistics providers. Any return that does not meet the return requirements or is shipped via another method may incur fees that will be deducted from the refund.
- In case of exchange, the second shipment is free (if minimum value of €500).
9. Guarantees & Claims
- The customer benefits from the legal guarantee of conformity and the guarantee against hidden defects.
- Natural wear and tear, improper or accidental use are not covered.
- In case of manufacturing defects, the shoes can be restored by our partner workshops.

10. Items made to order
Items made "to order" (specific productions, personalisations) cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded.
11. Specifics of heeled products
Maison Ernest has specialized in heels since 1904. However, it is up to each customer to ensure her ability to wear the chosen heights.
Improper use, unsuitable walking or an accident related to misuse will not be covered by the warranty.
12. Heel height
The height indicated is measured on a size 37. It may vary by approximately ±3 mm depending on the sizes.
13. Retention of Title
The products remain the property of Maison Ernest until full payment of the price.
14. Responsibility
Maison Ernest cannot be held responsible for any interruption of the site, force majeure events or misuse of products.
15. Intellectual Property
All content (images, texts, logos, designs, creations) is the exclusive property of Maison Ernest. Any reproduction or use without authorization is prohibited.
16. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law.
Any dispute relating to their interpretation or execution shall be submitted to the Commercial Court of Paris.
17. Privacy Policy
Maison Ernest only collects the data necessary for managing orders and business relationships.
No data is transferred to third parties.

The site uses technical and analytical cookies to improve the user experience.
18. Tax refund (non-EU customers)
Customers residing outside the European Union can request a tax refund, subject to meeting the legal requirements. A form is provided at the time of purchase in store.
19. Secure Payment Information
Online payments are secured through approved solutions.
Maison Ernest never stores bank details.
